As to your questions, my name is an Irish name and Niamh is pronounced Neeve (rhymes with sleeve). It means "sheen" or "luster".
I don't think going to K9 Kindercare is like jail at all. I LOVE going there because I get to play with lots of nice dog, swim in the pools and get lots of treats. You can see a post about it on my blog from August. 10 days was a long time but I've been there many times before (the first time for just one night) so I know all about it. Maybe your people will find a nice place for you to go when they go out of town.
Great job of begging! We do that too, except at our house, it's Penny on one side and me and Patches on the other. Penny gets snappy if we invade her begging space! She's old and crotchety!
