Not feeling very creative today and nothing really interesting has happened in my dawg house, so I've decided to post scary teeth pictures of Ziggy and me. If you have scary teeth pictures you'd like to share with me let me know and I will either post them or put a link up to your blog.

NOTE: CHECK BACK FOR ADDED PICTURES!

Here are some scary teeth pictures from my friends:

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the scariest of them all? Why you of course Mr. Jonesy! Please don't hurt me!

Behr - Part bat, part great dane puppy, ALL scary!!!

Mango proving cats are as scary or scarier than dawgs!!

Good Bye Old Friend

Stinky died today after a long battle with FIV. Though he could be scary at times, he was a good, loyal cat who could always be found guarding the front yard. He came to our home in 1998 after hitchhiking a ride from Rite Aid in Town wih my mom. Today the vet read my mom the comments she made on his first visit, "Looking to adopt him out." They both had a little laugh at that one because once an animal comes to our house my mom is hard pressed to let it go. We think Stinky was around 12 years old. It is a sad day in our dawg house but we know Stinky suffers no more.

Designer Dawgs

It looks like alot of different kinds of dawgs are jumping on the chihuahua bandwagon. Look at how good lookin these dawgs are with some chihuahua in them! Mom looked online for pictures and says there are lots more combinations out there than the ones we've listed here. My mom's favorite is the Chug. All I know is when you add chihuahua to the mix you can't go wrong!

It's a Boy!

My mom's niece, whose wedding she went to last month in Texas, is officially a mom! Can you believe it? I bet you never would have thought when looking at those pictures that she would be a mom in less than a month! Well here is a picture of her bouncing baby boy. Baby Scooter, a handsome little doxie, weighs in at 4 pounds, 3 of which are his ears! Hmmm, I think he might have inherited those ears from Papa Sid!
Congratulations on your new addition Crissy and Daniel!

P'd not Peed

Jackson and Patrick's mom showed this picture to my mom and she suggested I was actually being helpful when I P'd (get it?) on my mom's computer. See, I am a good dawg after all! Thanks for pointing that out Sarah!

Note from Pedro's Mom: I might have bought that argument if either of you actually peed where the "P" is on the keyboard, but you didn't. Nice try though.

Cousin It?

What is IT? A new member of our family? Say it isn't so! We have enough family members already. I mean really, we don't have to adopt every stray animal out there. Has this one had it's shots? Is it gonna bite me?
That is one weird looking animal. Where's it's head? Where's it's tail? Hey, wait a minute! It smells like Ziggy. Hold on, IT IS ZIGGY!
Ha! Ziggy got Furminated and the fur pile is bigger than me! Guess he's gonna get another shave this weekend. Mom says she'll get closer this time. Hehehe, bald pictures of Ziggy coming soon to a computer near you....

Fetch!

I've always liked playing with balls but I used to just hit them around myself and chase them. It's hard for me to pick up balls like this tennis ball because they're too big for me. Jessie and Leah taught me how to play fetch last weekend with the balls that Pearl gave me. These balls are just my size so I am able to pick them up and bring them back. Who knew that's what "fetch" is? I really like that game.

The Beach!

Mom took Ziggy and me to the beach this past weekend! I love, love, love the beach. There are sooooo many interesting smells and the sand feels so soft on my paws.
Ziggy gets really excited when we go to the beach and starts foaming at the mouth. Disgusting! I checked it out to make sure he wasn't poisoned or to be sure he didn't have rabies but it was just his smelly spit all foamed up. Honestly Ziggy, that's not very classy! Wipe your face!
Mom walked down to the water because Ziggy was wading in a little. The ocean was so calm that I thought I'd stroll down there with her. Wouldn't you know it, a wave came up and got me all wet! The ocean is so salty. When we went home mom put me in the pool twice to rinse off. Doesn't she know that even though I CAN swim quite good, I don't like to!
Before leaving the beach I made sure to mark all the sand castles I could find. Kids think the beach is theirs and I wanted to make sure they knew that it belongs to ME! After all, I am the King of Everything I See!

Oops, I Did It Again!

I can't seem to help myself. When my mom leaves her computer on the kitchen counter, for some reason I just HAVE to jump up there from the couch and mark it. Something inside of me tells me to do it, I don't know why. I know JB, I should NEVER admit to it! Believe me, I don't. She just seems to know it's me. How does she know? Do you think she has spy cameras on me all the time? I think it's a conspiracy, a set up, entrapment!!! I think I need a lawyer.

What a Nice Thing to Say!

Thank you Sissy, Tinky and Jonesy for this very meaningful award! My mom and I have been having alot of fun reading your blog and we hope all of our friends that haven't been there yet will go and visit with you soon. We would like to Paw this Forward to Poppy the Little Blond Chihuahua because we think she is an inspiration. She has fought back after back surgery and re-learned how to walk again and even got to go camping last weekend. We'd also like to give this award to JB's sister Misty because like my cat-sister Libby, she is also missing a body part (her kidney) and has overcome that adversity and is a happy, healthy, beautiful kitty. Honestly though, all my blog buddies make my day every day, so to me you ALL deserve this award. Have a PAWSOME weekend!!!!!

Tripod

Libby let my mom take a picture of her that shows you where she's missing her leg. My mom says it's unusual for Libby to lie down like this. Most of the time she lies on her other side so you can't really tell that her leg is missing. Her fur grew back in all the way, even on her scars. She's not like me! My scars are BALD! That is just not fair!

Lookit this Handsome Boy!

This is Taz the good lookin orange cat that lives with my mom's friend Lissa. I talked about him the other day in the Monorail Cat post. Taz had quite an adventure this past winter when he and his mom moved to a new house. They were adjusting nicely to their move when out of the blue Tazzie disappeared! It was really scary for Lissa and my mom and Judy too. We were all so worried about him because he was gone for almost a month and you can't help but to think the worst after that much time. Lissa had a feeling he was ok though and she put up signs all over the place in case somebody saw him wandering around. She thought maybe he was trying to find his way back to their old house. After the signs were up for awhile Lissa got a call from a lady who thought Taz was living under her deck 7+ miles in the opposite direction! How did that happen? Hmmmmm, our theory is the crazy bird lady in their new neighborhood shanghaied him and dropped him off miles away because she didn't want him catching "her" birds. Several other cats in the neighborhood have disappeared also. I think the FBI should launch an official investigation! However it happened, we are all soooooo happy that Taz is back home where he belongs. Taz is now officially an inside cat and he is HATING every minute of it! Oh well Taz, at least you know you're loved!

Dupid Bird!

I'm sure there are some very smart birds out there. Birds that can talk, sing, whistle beautiful tunes (like Eddie), even do tricks. But this bird is not one of them. This cat bird flew in to the work bay at my mom's office on Monday. My mom tried everything she could think of to get that bird out. The oversized bay garage door was open with all the lights turned off inside. She kept telling the bird, "Go towards the light, go towards the light!!!" but the bird just didn't get it. He wouldn't fly down low enough to get out. My mom finally gave up last night and locked the bird in with water and some whole wheat bread and wished him a good night. This morning when Judy came in the bird flew into the office. My mom trapped the bird in the bathroom and was finally able to catch and release him (after a photo session of course!) The bird made a bee-line for the potato fields and is probably still gobbling down bugs and water to make up for the day inside. Lets hope he learned a lesson!

International Package Exchange!

I received my package from Pearl!
It was filled with all sorts of fun things like this frisbee,
delicious treats,
balls,
and a cool chew toy.

I shared everything with Ziggy (he especially liked the treats!) Thank you Pearl! We had so much fun opening your package and playing with the toys. Thanks also to Chef & Mr. T. Bone Beasley for organizing this whole event. We look forward to participating again and again and again and again!!!!!

Monorail Cat

Poppy thinks Libby looks like this cat! I could definitely see Libby lying like this but this cat really looks like my mom's friend's cat - Taz. I'll try to get a picture of Taz and tell you a little story about him when I do. Sorry I haven't posted much but my mom has been very, very busy with Leah and work. Leah won some awards and scholarships this week and I'll post more about that later too. Enjoy your Saturday!!!

Turkey Lurkey Libby

My mom thinks Libby looks like a stuffed turkey when she sleeps like this. She is not malnourished that's for sure! In her defense, she really doesn't eat that much but with only 3 legs (and being 12 years old) she doesn't get that much exercise. It was two years ago on May 31st that she lost her leg because of the dog attack. Despite that experience, she is a happy kitty and we all LOVE her!

They Limped Home

It was 2:00 AM this morning, but they got home. The little Mini had some issues starting on the way there. The Anti Lock Braking system warning light came on. Of course this was June 1st and the 3 year warranty ran out on May 31st. My mom sounded pretty upset on the phone. So they drove on carefully to Morgantown, WV. When they got back in the car later the light was off and didn't come on again until they were on their way home last night. This time the Tire Pressure warning light came on too. So they stopped at Sheetz and put air in the tires. All the lights went off. Ten minutes later all the lights came on again. They stopped at another gas station and checked the tires again. The back passenger rear tire was flat. Granted, these are run-flat tires but they were still over 2 hours from home and it was 11:30 at night. Great. Mom put more air in the tire but could hear it flying out. So, they limped back on the highway, never going over 45 mph. Their last hope was the final service station on the New Jersey Turnpike. The garage was open but they didn't have a run-flat tire. The guy said he could find the leak and plug it. My mom was always told this couldn't be done on that kind of tire but desperate times call for desparate measures so she said PLEASE go ahead. $20 plus a $5 tip later they were back on the road. They rolled in to home about 2:oo AM and I was soooooooooo happy to see them! They were both very relieved to be home in one piece too. This morning the tire was still holding pressure but it's time for a new one. No more trips in the Mini. Hey, no more trips at all!!! (At least not without me).
