Cousin Rambo!

I received a present all the way from sunny California for Christmas from my cousin Rambo!I was really excited when my mom came home and said I received a package in the mail. I couldn't wait to open it but my mom made me pose for the camera in the process! Geesh! I was so happy to get a new duck! I had one just like this but much smaller but it wore out and disappeared. I wonder where stuffies go when they disappear? This one was big and new and all mine? I thought the present was all mine but Ziggy got in on the action too! Being a generous chihuahua, I let Ziggy have his turn before I tried to kill it (check out the short video).

I received some delicious treats from Rambo too (which I also shared with Ziggy). What a great Christmas I had! Thanks Ram!!!!

The ladies at the post office got a big kick out of the fact that I not only got loads more cards then my humans, but received a gift too! Here are some pictures of the cards.

The first two pictures are the cards the humans received. The last picture is all of mine! I got twice as many cards as them and tons and tons of e-cards too! The Christmas Card exchange was so much fun! Thanks to Mr. T Bone Beasley's mom, Amy, for organizing the list! That was alot of work and we sure did enjoy it!

Merry Christmas!

Quite a few of the e-cards I sent out came back to me as undeliverable and I've heard from at least one pup that they couldn't open the card so I'm posting it here. My mom and I hope that all our friends at Dawgs With Blogs and elsewhere have a wonderful Holiday whether it be Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, New Year, etc. We will sit around our Christmas tree tomorrow morning and consider the biggest gift of all the gift of your friendship!

Have a happy!!!
Love,
Pedro

Snowy Saturday

We had our first real snow of the winter this past Friday and Saturday. Though rain was mixed in, everything did turn a beautiful wintry white for a day or so. It rained all day yesterday then got bitterly cold. So now we're left with a hard white treacherous substance that is neither snow nor ice and not a lot of fun to run around on. Ziggy still enjoys it. The Huskey in him jumps for joy when there is snow of any kind on the ground. He loves to run around and roll and just lie in it. The year Ziggy was born we had a lot of snow (so I'm told) and when it first disappeared he didn't even know where to go to the bathroom! I left some pee-mails in the snow on Saturday, just to mark it as my own. I don't really enjoy the rolling around and lying in it, but it is interesting for a few minutes. Mostly I stayed inside and snuggled with Mom and Leah this weekend.

Outtakes

I've seen a couple other blogs post pictures of blooper pictures taken while trying to get that perfect Christmas Card photo and I got a good laugh out of it so I thought I'd post some of mine. The biggest problem my mom seems to have is avoiding "green eye". The photo editing programs she has only take out "red eye". She tried that on the green but it doesn't help. It was also tough to get me and Ziggy to look at the camera. You know, that flashy thing hurts my eyes! Maybe that's why they glow green! I was getting so confused too because after a couple of pictures my mom told us we were good boys so I thought that meant I should run over to her for some pets. Well, no. Evidently that meant I was supposed to sit still for more torture cause when I tried to get some lovin' she yelled at me. Look how guilty Ziggy looks in some of the pictures (hehehe, when mom yelled at me he thought he was the one in trouble). We did manage to get a decent shot for our card though. We'll post that picture soon. Here's a parting picture of Libby - she wanted in on the action. She's a big camera hog posing perfectly for mom! Geesh!

My Prize!

Yesterday I received my prize for co-winning the Dogs With Blogs Scawy Howloween Costume Contest! I was so excited I let my mom take a bunch of pictures of me modeling it then I had to play some bitey face with Ziggy! Look at the close-up shot of the picture on the t-shirt. It's a hampster!! Who is that hampster?? Is it Girl Girl????? Nope! It's Girl Girl's older brother, FuFu! I didn't know FuFu but I hear he was a great hampster blogger!
