Say It Isn't So!

Earlier this week my mom walked into the "shop" in our back yard to feed Cowboy, Elvis and Patsy and she was SHOCKED to find 4 more kittens in there! Yes, 4! She managed to catch one orange kitten then sat there while wondering what the heck she was going to do with it (she actually used many HBO words to colorfully describe what she was thinking about the whole situation but since my blog is G-Rated I will just say heck). She spied the cooler but it was wet inside so ended up bringing the kitten in the house and putting it in her BIG bathtub.
She went back out and caught a 2nd orange kitten and added him to the tub too. She put towels, a bed, wee wee pads and food and water in there, closed the door and left for work. She called my dad to tell him what she found, using more HBO words. When my dad got home he caught the other two kittens and added them to the tub.
The next day my human sister Jessie came and took the kittens to our Town animal shelter (no-kill). They said we have to catch the mother but my mom has tried and tried and tried. These kittens were about 4 weeks old so we're very hopeful that they will be adopted and have very good lives. If you live near us and would like a kitten, they're fat and cute!

Cute and a little vicious! But the shelter said they should be cute and cuddly in no time with a little socialization!

Hi How are you doing? You could just plain email me, y'know.
Do you know that Maggie is in doggie heaven and that Willie had emergency surgery for a big tumor in his belly? Things up here are fine. Can't believe it's been a MONTH since we spoke...
take care.

Those kitties are so awfully adorable!! With their cutie pie looks and young age, hopefully they'd all get adopted into good furever homes!!

My sister Hershey is a Border Collie but we think she seem to have some genes from a kangaroo (cos she jumps around so much).. Heehee..

Have a great weekend Pedro!

Oh Pedro! They are so cute! I hope they find good forever homes. It is sad there are so many kittens out there being born. I wish people would fix their pets so there are not so many unwanted pets.

Pedro maybe you should have kept them. You could have practiced herding skills on with them. Our cats are NOT cooperative. They usually run under the bed or into the closet..

Pedro,

Why don't you keep one as a pet? They are awfully cute and they probably smell wonderful.

Yepper we have 2 cats, Jordie and Shmed. They still have those ginsu knives so we have to be careful when attempting to herd them. Callie hasn't learned about those knives yet and dives right in after those kitties... Goofy kid..

Oh we also have 5 sugar gliders that dad gets out every night. This is our quiet time and we need to stay in our condo's..

Hey Pedro
They are so cute....I bet you wanna get your paws on them.
Gov. Shwarzenegger just passed a bill out here in Cali that all dogs and cats have to be spade or neutered. G-Mom says thats good, but you know how I feel about losing my little bits.
Watch out for them kitty claws!!

Hey Pedro! Check out that calico one. If it's a male, it could be worth 10's of thousands of dollars. Male calico's are VERY rare! We hope they all find great furever homes!

It sounds like your mom is doing her very bestest. Feral cats are so hard to deal with sometimes. Keep up the good work!

Hi Pedro!
How sweet of your furless friends to take care of those kitties. You've got a great blog! Have you by chance seen Beverly Hills "Chi-chi-wa-wa" (in your words)? My ma saw it yesterday and thought it was just greats!

Tail Wags,
Shadie.

Ah, and can I add ya to my fur friends list?

P. said...

Mr Pedro-
I am 14 pounds right now, and 8 months old, so I probably won't get much bigger. My parents are actually "Mini" aussies, and all my brothers and sisters weigh about double what I do. Some people actually breed the Toys (like me) and sometimes a Mini litter will have a toy or two in it!

Ma saw the Chi-chi-wa-wa movie yesterday, she said I have to wait until it comes out, they don't allow us puppers in the movie theater! Gr!

I'll keep checkin' back Pedro!

Tail Wags,
Shadie.

That was very good to take them to the no kill shelter. Your mum uses HBO words like mine does....Mum says kitties (Not JB, my friend) only other kitties must really like to fool around cuz they breed like mice....

Pedro, thank dog your mum helped them. Although I think Mango is annoying (very very), I must admit that a couple of those cream kittens look like him and they're actually pretty cute! Mango says too bad we're not closer - he wants a brother!

Love,
Jemma
