Here are a couple of pictures of Leah's room. My mom has been working really hard to get it all done before Leah comes home on Friday for the Thanksgiving break. The pictures aren't great but this is what she's done so far:- Painted the room
- Pulled up the old carpeting
- Cleaned and treated the wood floors
- Installed new quarter round for the molding
- Installed new saddles for the closet doors
- Sold her old dressers and desk
- Moved in a large dresser from another room
- Got new bedding & lamp shades & pillows
- Made new window treatments
- Installed new wooden blinds
- Ordered a "sleeper" chair

Whew! Too bad we don't have a before picture because it's hard to appreciate how bad the room looked before. Leah wants my mom to wait until she gets home to hang up the "artwork" and to buy an area rug. We'll post some final pictures after that is done..JPG)

That is just beautiful.. We did the wood floors upstairs a few years ago and all the painting.. Mom and Dad are making big messes but the whole upstairs turned out really nice. Mom enjoyed helping Dad with the floor. She said it was like a puzzle putting it all together. The sanding was the hardest part but really worth it..

Hi Pedro!!! Mom is finally getting us caught up with our friends! We have read all the posts we missed and loved the 3 boys on the couch. Also Leah will love this room! What alot of work and such a great job your mom did. Mom says if she gets bored to come to our house! We could use some help!

Pee Ess: How is Libby doing? PooPoo had a big pee and poo explosion today while mom was out working.....we think Bear was taunting her through the bathroom door!
Pedro!!!!!!!!!!!! My mom is such a tired ding dong!!!!!!!!! She got you confused with Rambo....and realizes and knows that MM lives with Rambo and not you. My mom needs to sleep more. Sorry we got you mixed up. You are 3 of my most favorite "little" dawgs, you know!

oooh... we can't wait to see the "after" pictures. It looks great so far. After spending our first year in an apartment with white walls, we are looking forward to the day we can decorate!
