Shell Monday

My mom came home from work on Monday with two packages for me! One was from Joey and Zeke who live in Hollywood, Florida. I wonder if there are movie stars there too like there are in Hollywood, California. I'd really like to meet Chloe from Beverly Hills Chihuahua. The beautiful shell Joey and Zeke sent me was found on Hollywood Beach. That beach looks alot warmer than my beach that's for sure! Hollywood, Florida is 1,356 miles South of where I live so I guess that explains why it's warmer. Look at all the shells in the sand. Can you guess which shell they chose? Here's Joey getting the package ready to send to me. Libby wanted to read the letter and since I'm a little scared of her, I said ok.
The second package was from Pruett and Daphne. They live in Durham, North Carolina which is 568 miles from my house. Because Durham is a bit of a hike from the beach, Pruett and Daphne were nice enough to send me three colorful shells from their personal collection.
Ziggy likes the yellow one the best! Here is a picture of Pruett at the beach the day they found the shells. He was just a little pup! I read the letter quickly before Libby decided to muscle in on my territory again!
The new shells look great with Rambo and Midge's rocks! My mom writes on the bottom of each shell and rock who sent them and where they live so we always remember where they came from!

That is such a great idea and it looks like you've got a great start! We'll try to get out to the beach again next weekend to document the search!

You are well on your way to filling that side of the table. If we could ever get to the beach we would send you a few.

Pedro, we kind of started looking for rocks for you today but there's still so much snow covering them up. When do you need the rocks by? Do we have time to wait for the snow to melt, like about a month? If not, we'll send you a decorative rock right from one of our plants in the house. We have gorgeous rocks in the our garden though, if you want to wait a few weeks. Let me know.

Those are great rocks you got in the mail. I'm sure the table is going to look fantastic when it's done.

Hi Pedro!
I would love to send you some things for your table, but I don't have a beach near me! Maybe I can find some by a stream? I will be on the lookout for some nice things for you!

I promise we will start looking for the rocks soon... Hershey can't go out for too long lately cos she is in heat (I think she is feeling very warm in the humid climate)..
Wait for us!!

Very cool collection! I might be a little scared of Libby, too--she looks tough!
By the way, I'm Fred, and I just stopped by to say hello. Love your blog!

This is a great idea Pedro! We'll keep our eye out for a spledid Arizona stone for you & when we get to the Canada-IdahoUSA boarder we'll rock hunt for you too. Hootie will be the official size judge, cuz he's the littlest and we don't want any Airedale bolders going your way! Smooches from pooches, BabyRocketDog & Hootie
