Inside the package was this very artistic card that the hounds made for me.The letter explained that the pieces glued to the front of the card, with the exception of the slivers of shell, were from their personal collection.
Bogart's job is to guard the rocks and he takes his job very seriously!
First they spread out all the rocks and glass pieces onto the floor for closer inspection.
Sweepy went through the collection, viewing each piece one by one and chose his favorites.
Sumo chose the rock he wanted to send and carefully placed it on Sweepy's nose while he was sleeping!

You're right. Those shells did add some color to the table. It looks pawsome!!
That was a good idea your Mom had. Collecting rocks and shells from all over the world was fun, huh??

Hi-ya Pedro! What beautiful shells-and from so, so far away!! They are experts at picking out good rocks! Mom is fascintated by the leafy lookin' shells. The table is coming along beautifully. My rocks should be arriving any day now. You will have to pardon the lack of surprises for all your furry family-I didn't realize until after I sent my package that there are more to your pack than you and Libby. My bad. Please share if you don't mind.
Woofs and bad slobbers,
Chester

Those really are great things for your table. My mom is amazed at how many participants there are in building your rock table! Who knew this idea would take off so well?

Hi Pedro. Incredible stones and shells from Philippines! Very beautiful.
Woof Pedro!
I am glad our rock collection got to you! You should see the way the postmaster eyed the rocks. Methinks she wanted one too! Keeper said it was part of the card design otherwise she would charge us extra for it!
I am now thinking of what to share with you next. Hmmm, we are doing art sessions this weekend. I'll make you a mural if it is possible and if Keeper won't freak out.
Droolingly happy,
Sweepy
Cool Pedro! Thanks for sharing your gift in this blog. By the way, did you by chance see this article about Zootoo’s shelter makeover? http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2009-04-12-zootoo-shelter-clash_N.htm
You are getting some impressive rocks from all over the world. We sent ours and wondered it you received the Round Rock from Texas?
That collection is beautiful. Thanks for the link to the story about the heeler lost at see that survived, very interesting.
Those are a great addition to the table even if they weren't originally meant for it! Looking awesome!
