This is my friend Jill. Well, she's really my mom's friend - I've never actually met her. Jill lived with my mom's sister for a long, long time. When my aunt semi-retired she moved to a condo down south that didn't allow dogs. Can you imagine that? What kind of place wouldn't allow dogs and who would ever want to live there??? Any way, at that time Jill went to live with my mom's good friend and co-worker, Judy. Judy has another dachsund who is, well..... also pretty long in the tooth if you catch my drift. Her name is Libby (like my cat-sister). My mom visits with Jill often and she is very, very happy with her new people. About 2 months ago Jill was diagnosed with Addison's Disease. It's kind of a confusing disease but she gets a shot once a month now and she's doing great. Did you know that President John F. Kennedy had Addison's Disease? Jill and JFK - hmmm she's in pretty good company I'd say. My mom always looks forward to seeing Jill. The first thing Jill does when she see's my mom is crawl up in her lap for hugs. If my mom isn't fast enough Jill will let her know with insistant barks, barks, barks. She's a really big MUSH!!
