Now I Know I'm Royalty

I received another ROYAL package today! This one was from my new friend Ludo van Puppy. Ludo lives in a town called St. Bees in the United Kingdom which is just a hop across the "pond" from me - a mere 3,211 miles (5,168 kilometers).Inside the package was a letter from Ludo. Ludo went to his beach in Cumbria, England and found some sea glass, shells, stones and sandstone for my mom's coffee table. In the letter Ludo explained that the cliffs by the sea are made out of sandstone and long ago the sandstone was used to make many of the local houses. The pictures Ludo sent show what the beach looks like and some of the old buildings made from sandstone. Here is a picture of Ludo sniffing out the best rocks to send to me. With so many rocks on the beach I don't know how he was able choose! Ludo took the rocks, shells and sea glass home and sorted them all out into individual piles. I think Ludo must be a Virgo like my mom because she sorts out things too. When she was a little girl she had (and still does) a huge button collection. On rainy days she would dump the whole collection out on the floor and sort it by color, size, style and even by number of holes in the button. She'd line them up neatly in rows. This would occupy her for hours! Ok...... I think my mom might have a few issues...Before we put the rocks and shells in the table I got to give them the once over. They smelled so interesting! My mom wrote Ludo's name and where he lives on the bottom of most of them so we'll always remember where they came from. Here they are in their new home! The DWB section of the coffee table is about 1/2 full now but don't worry, we still have another whole empty section!!

Hi Pedro,

Nice bunch of rocks and I really like the glass. I hope you get my package soon. I watched mom tape it all up, so I think it will get there without any rocks falling out.

Wow, Ludo is a good rock picker outer! I wish we lived near a beach so we could see cool rocks all the time, but we're mountain folk.

Woe, that table is really looking cool on the DWB side. I am having a hard time finding the coolest rock ever to send to you. Kansas is just full of mud and dirt.
I will find one though. That was really cool how far away those rocks and sandglass came.....way cool

Whoa...the table is filling up very nicely indeed! I hope I can find some nice stones for you too, Pedro..but it would take some time coz I live quite far from the beaches, and I'm not sure when we'll be going again. Hopefully it'll be before your table fills up completely! *crosses paws*

Your mom just likes to organize. The crazy old bat spends wo much time organizing everything that nothing gets done. At least she remembers to feed us.
