- They are good for peeing on
- They are good for catching kitty litter (and my pee that doesn't go in the box)
- They can be fun to shred (as long as you don't eat them like Jemma did!)
- AND, last night I found out that they make a comfortable place to sleep (as long as you don't use them for #1)

Good Pedro Rules!
My mom was very pleasantly surprised yesterday when she came home and found I did no floor peeing! I only peed on Libby's litter box which is, evidently, a good thing. Sometimes I even get the pee in the box which is, evidently, even a better thing. My mom didn't take any pictures of the peed on wee wee pad cause she said that would be gross. I have found that wee wee pads have many purposes:

Report Card
Did Bad Pedro come out? My mom doesn't know because the evidence was cleaned up before she got home last night. Hehehe. This is what my dawg house looked like this morning before she left for work. She didn't paper the place yesterday because Jessie was coming over for lunch to let me out. Dad told her there were a "couple" of pee spots though so this morning she went wee wee pad crazy. Jessie is visiting with me again today though so Bad Pedro might stay hidden. We will see.......

Riding in the Car
I still get nervous, I still shake like a leaf, I still don't like the car seat, BUT I've found that riding in the car is some how so soothing that, even though I still don't like it, it makes me soooooo sleepy that I can't help but rest my eyes... Mom says tomorrow she's going to paper the house with wee wee pads and leave me home. I don't think I like that idea either... We will see - I may have to unleash Bad Pedro. Stay tuned amigos!

Workin Dawg
As I mentioned in my previous post, my mom took Leah to college last weekend. Leah is a freshman at West Virginia University. They made the trek down there last Thursday and spent the weekend organizing her room. Leah had mandatory "classes" on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in her dorm. Here is a picture of the dorm with Leah pointing to her room. These are a couple of shots of her room while she was in the process of organizing and decorating it. That bed looks really comfortable but it was so high my mom had to buy Leah a step like the one I use at home to get on my mom's bed! Haha - I think that's funny. So, now that Leah is at school there is no one to let me out during the day. Everybody knows I have no problem peeing in the house but, for some reason, my mom doesn't approve! This week I've been going to work with my mom. Sounds like fun but really it's quite boring. I'm pretty tired today so I'm gonna catch up on my napping. We had to go out and run an errand for my mom's boss and when we were done we stopped by the pet store! I thought I was gonna get a treat or a toy or something fun but Nooooooooooo! Much to my dismay, my mom bought me a CAR SEAT! This does NOT make me happy. I like to ride on my mom's lap, resting on her left arm. She seems to think it's unsafe to drive a car with one hand, especially because it's a 6-speed standard transmission. I thought she was doing pretty good but she disagreed and now I'm stuck sitting in a car seat like an infant human! So degrading...

Birthday Kong!
My mom got back from West Virginia last night and gave me my birthday present. I was so happy to see her that I didn't really care about the present. When I first opened it I had no idea what it was and, to tell you the truth, I was a little disappointed. Then she opened this can and pressed on the top and it made a "popping" sound which scared me a bit and a couple of pieces of "stuff" went flying out of it. My mom put it on her finger and gave it to me to taste. D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S peanut butter!!!! After she saw I liked it she shot some of the stuff inside the Kong and put it down for me. I didn't get it at first but she picked it up and showed me so I could smell the peanut butter. Then I got it!!! Kong = treat! Yum! Thanks for my birthday present Mom!!!

My Barkday, Good Credit & Some Sad News
I am 2 years old TODAY! My mom almost forgot! Can you believe that? I hope she's doing something special for me tonight. I know there is gonna be a pizza party at my house because my mom is taking Leah to college tomorrow but maybe there will be a little surprise for me too... A new toy would be nice - hint, hint mom!
I received this award today from my friend Huskee and my favorite cousin Rambo!! I'm so honored and guess my credit rating is pretty good because it's not a regular card, it's a GOLD card! The rules of this award are:
- Only five people allowed.
- Four have to be dedicated followers of your blog.
- One has to be someone new or recently new to your blog and live in another part of the world.
- You must link back to whoever gave you the award.
Many of my friends have received this award already, but I would like to paw it along to the 3 Wild Heelers, Jemma, JB, Tuffy and my new friend, Deetz.
.
Unfortunately, we've lost another one of the pets at my dawg house. Bunny, our very large and gorgeous Americana chicken died yesterday. She was 5 years old and laid the most beautiful green eggs! We'll miss Bunny following us around the yard and clucking at us from the coop. She
really was a good bird and important member of our family.

Crazy Weather
This summer we have had some CRAZY weather in my neck of the woods. The storms have been spectacular - thunder, lightening, hail, rain, winds, etc. The other day after a storm whipped though we were treated to a beautiful rainbow. The pictures don't do it justice. There were actually 2 rainbows, one on top of the other, and they went a full 180 degrees. It was a sight my mom said she had never witnessed before and she and Leah had to stop and take it all in. It's the little things...Last night we had another one of those wild thunder and lightening storms whip through. Ziggy gets so upset that he shakes like a leaf in the wind and can't sit still. Penny the airedale gets really nervous in storms too and her parents put a "storm shirt" on her to help keep her calm. My mom decided to give it a try to see if it would help Ziggy. Well, unfortunately, all it did was cause Ziggy to be hot and scared. Poor boy. He should take a lesson from me and just relax. I slept through most of the storm. Every once in a while I'll bark at the thunder just to let it know I'm tougher than it is!

WARNING - RABID CAT!
Rabies on Long Island? Can this be true? Is my cat-sister Libby the first victim of this horrible scourge? We've all had our shots, how could she have gotten rabies? Maybe it's some other drooling disease that affects Maine Coon Cats exclusively. Boy does she look pissed to boot! My mom says the drooling is not caused by a disease, or a virus or insanity but I don't know if that's true. Supposedly this excessive drooling was caused by the bitter taste of the Flagyl antibiotic medication she is on for her throwing up and intestinal problem. Just to be safe though, I think I'll steer clear of Libby for awhile, quite awhile!

Pee Mails are fun to leave and interesting to read. I like to leave Pee Mails everywhere I possibly can. I did some research over the weekend and found out alot of my friends like to leave Pee Mails too. If you have any Pee Mail pictures that you would like to share with me, you know the drill, leave a comment and I will get your picture and add it to this post. Have fun reading the Pee Mails (oh and a couple of Poo Mails too)!

Too Busy Being Fabulous
My mom and Judy went to Mohegan Sun last night to see The Eagles. I apologize for not posting much this week but between the drama with Libby then my mom leaving me to go listen to some eagles, she hasn't been "present" enough to put together a coherent post. Who would go all the way to Connecticut to listen to some birds squawk anyway? AND don't eagles hunt and eat little animals like chihuahuas??? Well, she promises we're going to write a fun post with lots and lots of guest photos this weekend! So stay tuned :)
