Good Bye Old Friend

Stinky died today after a long battle with FIV. Though he could be scary at times, he was a good, loyal cat who could always be found guarding the front yard. He came to our home in 1998 after hitchhiking a ride from Rite Aid in Town wih my mom. Today the vet read my mom the comments she made on his first visit, "Looking to adopt him out." They both had a little laugh at that one because once an animal comes to our house my mom is hard pressed to let it go. We think Stinky was around 12 years old. It is a sad day in our dawg house but we know Stinky suffers no more.

We loved you so much Stinky. You were a good handsome boy. I hope Cat Heaven treats you well, and that you had a happy life with us.
Love always,
Aunt Jessie

I am so sorry to hear about Stinky! I bet my sister PooPoo would have gotten along with him. I think Stinky was very lucky to have had such a good home.
Missed mom is coming home, she is at the airport and says she is getting ready to have red eyes.....on a night flight.
P.S. That was such a nice stofy about Ceaser and the mural. What a big cat he was!

Bless you! I am visiting from Tuffy's blog and just read this post! My beloved dalmatian, Patch, just crossed over to The Rainbow Bridge on May 9, 2008. Wonder if he has met Stinky yet?

Lots of Prayers and (((HUGS))) from me to you all!
