Stinky died today after a long battle with FIV. Though he could be scary at times, he was a good, loyal cat who could always be found guarding the front yard. He came to our home in 1998 after hitchhiking a ride from Rite Aid in Town wih my mom. Today the vet read my mom the comments she made on his first visit, "Looking to adopt him out." They both had a little laugh at that one because once an animal comes to our house my mom is hard pressed to let it go. We think Stinky was around 12 years old. It is a sad day in our dawg house but we know Stinky suffers no more.

I am so sorry to hear about Stinky! I bet my sister PooPoo would have gotten along with him. I think Stinky was very lucky to have had such a good home.

Pedro and your family - I am so, so sorry to hear about Stinky. It is very sad to lose your good friend. You did a wonderful thing by giving him love and shelter for so many years and I'm sure he was a happy cat.
