Lookit this Handsome Boy!

This is Taz the good lookin orange cat that lives with my mom's friend Lissa. I talked about him the other day in the Monorail Cat post. Taz had quite an adventure this past winter when he and his mom moved to a new house. They were adjusting nicely to their move when out of the blue Tazzie disappeared! It was really scary for Lissa and my mom and Judy too. We were all so worried about him because he was gone for almost a month and you can't help but to think the worst after that much time. Lissa had a feeling he was ok though and she put up signs all over the place in case somebody saw him wandering around. She thought maybe he was trying to find his way back to their old house. After the signs were up for awhile Lissa got a call from a lady who thought Taz was living under her deck 7+ miles in the opposite direction! How did that happen? Hmmmmm, our theory is the crazy bird lady in their new neighborhood shanghaied him and dropped him off miles away because she didn't want him catching "her" birds. Several other cats in the neighborhood have disappeared also. I think the FBI should launch an official investigation! However it happened, we are all soooooo happy that Taz is back home where he belongs. Taz is now officially an inside cat and he is HATING every minute of it! Oh well Taz, at least you know you're loved!

Thanks Pedro for telling my story. It was quite a scary time for me and my mom. Lot's of people looked for me and made sure my mom was ok.

I do go outside again, but on a scarce basis. I rarely leave the front deck now because my mom put some wicker furniture out with nice soft cushions. When she whistles for me, I meow and run right in. Needless to say I was a little freaked out with the whole adventure this winter, and I know what a good life I have! My mom kisses and smooches me everyday, she really can't get enough of me. I mean look at me!!! I'm gorgeous!! Haha!!

Thanks again Pedro!

Wow, my cat disappeared when we moved to a new house too - he WAS at the old house. I'm glad Taz was found. If th ebird lady really is doing that... NO BUENO! She should get in big trouble.

Judy,

My mom said she felt very sad about Taz and it was heartbreaking for her to think about what Lis was going through missing him and worrying about him. Aaaaa, I think your "little" girl, Manny Ramirez, is bigger than almost any cat I know. She's one big dumpster kitty!

Oh My Dawg cousin that's a scary story! Poor Tazzie. I know how it feels to be lost and it's the scariest feeling in the world. Lucky for us, we have humans who love us to death and would search to the end of the world and back for us. I'm glad Tazzie is home safe and sound. As for that bird lady....I think she deserves a peck on the head. he he he

Wow, I am glad Taz is safe and back home. That happened to a friend of mine, only her son accidently left the door open and the cat flew out the door. She found him 2 weeks later by just going through the neighborhood calling his name. She was so happy to get him back. He is a beautiful Siamese.

Hey, Pedro, you have to come by my site, I have something for you too (Dobby has one too). Just go to http://4urpets.wordpress.com/2008/06/11/my-day-is-made/

I think you should put those exploding purple die packs on the kitty and then if the evil bird lady grabs the kitty... there's your evidence. Ok, so there's that little detail about kitty turning purple too, but at least you'll know which kitty is yours.

woo, I'm just saying

Taz looks like a cool cat. Please tell him that it is much safer to be an inside cat. I know, because I am one, and I was very scared when I was an orphan outside when I was a small baby.
