This pretty Cecropia Moth visited my mom at work today.
The interesting thing about this moth, other than being HUGE,
is that is doesn't have a mouth!
It eats while it's a caterpillar then survives
on it's stored fat for the rest of it's life.
My mom says I could survive on my fat for quite awhile...
She's not very nice.

What a pawsome moth. It's very interesting looking, but I kinda feel sorry for it cause it doesn't get to eat. Hmmm.
BTW....you are not fat. If you're fat, then I am a blimp.

That moth is super pretty. But I feel kind of sad that it has such a short life and does not get to enjoy any foodables.

That is an amazing moth! Did you ask him if he would be my friend?
We don't think you are fat, Pedro.

That is a lovely moth. The people in this house could live a good long time.

I'd never make it as one of those moth's. I think I would die if I missed eve ONE meal!
It is very pretty though!

Just so you know -- your moth isn't a Cecropia. It's a Tulip-tree Silkmoth. Google images of the two; you'll see they're distinctly different.
